My lunch-time paradise was somewhat marred however by the discovery of an old fire and a giant bottle of Grant’s Vodka (the exciting Vodka) discarded in the grass. Don’t dirty my paradise you jerks! Lying on the hot flat roof at work watching puffy clouds float past. Summer is coming! Thurston Moore is playing a free show at the Tate Modern tonight… sweet!

This was shot in my garden, it’s a Yucca type plant, which was tungsten lit and balanced, which gives the sky such a blue colour. A couple of seconds exposure.

This was shot lying on the ground looking up at the flower with a 50mm lens to get the blue sky backdrop. The flower is amazing, probably 11″ inches across. I’m all moved into the new flat, but so exhausted. Just drove back from Bournemouth doing the mother’s day rounds. Hi Mum!
