A warm up walk up Fan Fawr in the Brecon Beacons. This is the mound of stones at the peak.

I have had my camera set on my bird table all day with a remote release, so when a bird came I’d be able to shoot it. But the idea was ruined by a greedy fat Squirrel named Ramon, who insisted on scaring away any birds that came to land. I had photos of him, [...]
Lighting up the autumn leaves and a tree on Clapham Common. Dark nights are here. No more sunlight for me : (
A giant candyfloss head replacement in Battersea Park.
Walking through Battersea Park yesterday evening, I walked past this tree that was being lit up from the east when the sun was setting in the west. Make sense? The sun was beaming across London and had positioned itself perfectly to reflect off a building a long way away and reflected that light back onto [...]
A great thing about a newborn baby is using it as an excuse to go and do things like feed the ducks. So there were 4 adults frantically throwing crusty wholemeal at the quacks, whilst the baby slept peacefully in his pram. I found these thistles on the walk back across the park.
Okay, well, this is my first panorama on this blog. So you may want to either click on it to zoom in or visit the Flickr page so you can view it full size. As I was on a walk Monday lunch time in Nonsuch Park Woods. I took a different route to usual and [...]
Lying in the grass reading and drinking a £3 can of coke on Sunday afternoon, decompressing before a week of work I took some time photographing the Common and made use of the really shallow Depth of Field on my 50mm to throw out the tree in the background against the sunset.
Watching the sunset up Primrose Hill on Saturday before the Regent’s Park open air Theatre (Which is quite a special place itself). This has been Tilt-shifted in Post, which I hoped to do when I was shooting.
Is it wrong to take pics of dogs without their permission? I hope not. Having a play with the Hipstamatic App for the iPhone. So cool. A top-down dog in the park makes a good, speedy subject.
Today’s image is a still from the Video I made on a walk in Battersea Park this evening. I took 1730 still images and edited them together to make this 3 minute film. Take a look at it on Vimeo here. Shot on my Canon EOS 1D with a 50mm lens. It was a pretty [...]
After going back to my old house to vote in the election. The sky was a deep purple colour, and it was really contrasting with the tungsten, fluorescent and other temperature lights in Spa Gardens. I wedged my camera in a crook of a tree for support and took this 4 second exposure with a [...]
I found these flowers near the Pagoda in Battersea Park. The sun was really low in the sky so they had a really nice light on them. They were shot top down with a 50mm at f1.4. It’s such a nice park, plus good dog sightings!
After seeing a new flat today that looked like Fritzel’s Summer London attic. I took a walk through Clapham Common, and got this shot by the bandstand thing in the middle. I was on route to a lovely meal which was Mexican in theme, and delicious in taste. Lots of red wine and some ales [...]
