A shot out across the English Channel after going swimming at Durdle Door on Saturday. The light was getting hazy at sunset and there just happened to be a perfectly positioned sailing boat.

19-09-2010 Butter Rock

September 21st, 2010

This is Butter Rock, it’s found down the far west end of Durdle Cove in Dorset. It’s a natural chalk stack, like a mini version of Old Harry and his chalky friends.

03-07-2010 Durdle Door

July 4th, 2010

I took a trip to Durdle door last night at dusk. I hung around and ate a burger and drank a bottle of ale, then took a walk down onto the beach and took a few shots (for the first time, shockingly, having grown up nearby). This shot was taken with my 50mm lens around [...]

An image looking down at Bedruthen Steps on the North Coast of Cornwall. Quite an amazing place. Try to be the first down to the beach when the tide goes out and you have an epic landscape all to yourself to explore, with caves that lead to another amazing cove that is so grand that [...]

A Grainy Black and White image of the rocks leading on to Perranporth Beach in Cornwall. Great weekend. Apart from not being able to get my surfboard out the board bag because the zipper was jammed with salt crust and wax. (and hour and a half later it was free after going at it with [...]

May 5th, 2010

The 4 o’clock storms rolled in most days in Mexico. They look so dramatic, and make your hairs stand up.

17-04-2010 Emma = Bride

May 4th, 2010

Here’s a shot of Emma looking awesome on her and Ben’s wedding day in Mexico. The rain let up after a cool thunderous ceremony and we all got great photos on the beach with these stormy skies and light blue sea. An awesome day! (ps. the floating light bits are confetti on each side of [...]

12-04-2010 Driftwood

April 28th, 2010

A sweet piece of driftwood on the beach at Sian Ka’an nature reserve. I want to go back now please.

07-04-2010 Wooden Groynes

April 26th, 2010

Beautiful wooden groynes on Isla Mujeres. The water was so turquoise there… and warm too. I’m so glad it’s summer (almost) back home.

06-04-2010 Rock & Surf

April 26th, 2010

This odd rock formation was on the north coast of Isla Mujeres. It’s a really nice little island. Did some diving there. Did a little relaxing. Ate a lot of Nachos.
