Picking apples from the tree to bake a pie. The sun was setting and shining through the branches, picking out the shape of the apples.
Tomatoes on the kitchen table, shot at 640ISO using a lamp in the corner of the room. These were a gift from Graeme (Physio of the year 2009/2010) Thanks dude!
This melon was shot at home with natural light. I laid it by the patio doors on a black T-shirt, then spot-metered the melon to keep the T black and the melon correctly exposed and shot it top down, hand-held with a 50mm lens at 125th at f1.4. I wanted to call it Planet Melex…
Apple shot in the studio with Tungsten. One spotlight from behind on full and one snoot to the front right on low power. I hollowed out the back of the apple to get it translucent and glowing. Friday has come at last!
My chief tomato plant shot from the ground up. I used my flash bounced off the wall to light the plant, and balanced it to correctly expose the dusk sky.
A close up studio shot of a tower of cherries. Lit with one single soft-box on black perspex and sprayed with a mister for the water drops effect. The cherries were delicious by the way.
Friday’s shot is this studio shot of a Lime. Taken in the studio with an orange perspex background, lit with 2 tungsten lights. (modeling on flash lights). You may wish to squeeze it into a Friday night cocktail or put a slice in your Mexican beer? Weekend is here!
