I had a great day on Friday at Kate & Graeme’s wedding (Congratulations guys). Luckily I wasn’t photographing officially, as the in-focus ones were few and far between (too much free Champagne). Sam, Rach, Kate & Becky look awesome here!

An Orchid, shot against bedroom wall using a pose-able bedside lamp for lighting. One hand holding the lamp, one hand on the camera… That makes it hard to manual focus…
Shot with my head up by the ceiling and the camera upside down. Some interesting shapes. Plus, you can see my glow in the dark stars!
There are a few tulips growing in the garden, cool flowers. These were against and old brick wall. I liked the way they looked.
I took a walk in Nonsuch Park during a break at work. It was so nice, I sat against a massive tree in the sun and ate a sandwich and read a book. (‘the cranes that build the cranes’ – Jeremy Dyson… it’s awesome). I didn’t see a single person in an hour…. ahhhh
I found these flowers in Embankment gardens when I was escaping the crowds at the London Marathon. Lots of impressive people doing A LOT of running.
Here’s a shot of Emma looking awesome on her and Ben’s wedding day in Mexico. The rain let up after a cool thunderous ceremony and we all got great photos on the beach with these stormy skies and light blue sea. An awesome day! (ps. the floating light bits are confetti on each side of [...]
I photographed these daffodils on Clapham Common on the walk home. I love the 50mm lens. Can’t wait to get a SLR with HD video so I can film with it. This exposure was a couple of seconds, balanced to tungsten.
I found these flowers near the Pagoda in Battersea Park. The sun was really low in the sky so they had a really nice light on them. They were shot top down with a 50mm at f1.4. It’s such a nice park, plus good dog sightings!
I just watched silent running, and it made me want to photograph a plant. So here is a still life of just that; and a candle. Shot using the candle light and a wide aperture of f1.4.
