20-12-2010 St. Mary’s

December 21st, 2010

St. Mary’s church porch in Ewell. Such a picturesque church when it snows. I think this church was built in 1848. But the original (some of which is still there) was built in the 13th Century.

30-11-2010 Ewell Church

November 30th, 2010

The churchyard at Ewell was looking picturesque this morning.

03-11-2010 Alley @ Dusk

November 3rd, 2010

A shot down the alley behind the studio. I was just enjoying the mix of the blue autumn dusk light mixed with the orange glow of the tungsten lamps.

04-10-2010 Garages in alley

October 7th, 2010

Whilst being gassed out of the studio this week, I had to get outside to escape the fumes. I took a walk down the alley around the back of the studio and found lots of interesting garages and doors, each one different.

19-07-2010 Bike Trails

July 20th, 2010

Okay, well, this is my first panorama on this blog. So you may want to either click on it to zoom in or visit the Flickr page so you can view it full size. As I was on a walk Monday lunch time in Nonsuch Park Woods. I took a different route to usual and [...]

14-07-2010 Tree Stump Wave

July 15th, 2010

A new path through the forest at Nonsuch Park had been cleared when I was walking yesterday. I found huge clusters of tree stumps. They were all hollow, like they’d had their insides scooped out. Strange activity indeed. I noticed this one had a core like the arc of a wave. It just makes me [...]

24-05-2010 Mallard!

May 24th, 2010

I snapped this guy down at Bourne Hall pond this afternoon. He was recovering after being chased by a monstrous child who was chasing all the ducks screaming “Die! Kick! Die!”. I was just waiting for a swan to turn on him. I gave the duck a crust to help him recover. He quacked his [...]

27-04-2010 Bluebells

May 8th, 2010

I took a walk in Nonsuch Park during a break at work. It was so nice, I sat against a massive tree in the sun and ate a sandwich and read a book. (‘the cranes that build the cranes’ – Jeremy Dyson… it’s awesome). I didn’t see a single person in an hour…. ahhhh

15-02-2010 Ivy Fence

February 15th, 2010

I found this fence in Ewell this afternoon which is covered in Ivy all over, there is barely any fence left; It’s a pretty crazy plant. It makes for quite an interesting image. I’m tired from all this flat searching… To bed for me

22-01-2010 Hut in Woods

January 22nd, 2010

I found this locked, graffiti ridden hut on a walk through the woods on my to work this morning, and thought it interesting enough for a photo. It was off the path by quite a way. Strange building, with a danger of death sticker on it. : /  This is an 8 Second exposure. It [...]

I Discovered a nice walk along a stream on my way in to work this morning. It ended at a railway bridge (only because I ran out of time) under the Epsom line which had a bridge running through it. Pretty cool. I really need a camera that can handle low light better. Seeing as [...]

11-01-2010 Pipe Over The Pond

January 11th, 2010

Trains all back to normal this morning. But there was quite a bit more snow last night. Had a walk around the Pond in Ewell Village and found a massive pipe sticking out of the ground that bends to point horizontally across the pond. Not sure what it’s for. I imagine some sort of polluting. [...]

05-01-2010 Bourne Hall Pond

January 5th, 2010

Today’s photo was taken by the road side at Bourne Hall pond in Ewell whilst I was on the way to the train. It’s freezing out there! Lots of snow around the country today. Hopefully headed for London tonight. I want a repeat of last February please, snow god. With any luck, tomorrow’s photo is [...]
