I found these dyed heather bushes at a garden centre. They were the most bizarre colours, but looked really good together.
I wasn’t sure about adding this image today, but after looking at it for a long time, I think it’s a good abstract. Plus, it makes me feel a little bit woozy as the depth of field is so shallow. It’s ale Thursday!

The first night camping in Morthoe in Devon this weekend. An amazing deep red sunset was followed by a nice setting Venus. I didn’t have a telescope or a long lens, so I blurred it out in the background and focused on this camping lamp. Devon!
This was taken in a tiny forest. I got shrunk down whilst fiddling with some strange equipment in the garage. There was a flash of light and next thing I knew, I was in these eerie woods.
I shot this yellow blossom in the studio this afternoon, with one soft-box coming in from the left. I had to desaturate the yellows a tad as they were showing pretty vibrant from the camera. I just had a battle with some squirrels outside. My new flat actually has birds… Nice ones too, not just [...]
I was trying to create a sense of scale so that the posable figure in this image looked like an adult. If i had more time, it’d be fun to superimpose him onto normal size bricks or into a busy street scene. Maybe another day.
