Walking over Clapham Common on Wednesday, my head was suddenly engulfed by a swarm of biting insects. I then proceeded to chase the swarm around, thrusting my camera into it and shooting wildly. This was the result.

Lying in the grass reading and drinking a £3 can of coke on Sunday afternoon, decompressing before a week of work I took some time photographing the Common and made use of the really shallow Depth of Field on my 50mm to throw out the tree in the background against the sunset.
Walking home on Thursday night I took my chance to photograph this stop as no one was around. There were a couple of exposures where the stop was actually in focus. But for some reason, the slight forward focus made it entirely better looking. Had some drinks at the Sir Richard Steele near Chalk Farm. [...]
Is it wrong to take pics of dogs without their permission? I hope not. Having a play with the Hipstamatic App for the iPhone. So cool. A top-down dog in the park makes a good, speedy subject.
Ale Thursday this week marked the very first Ale Thursday Olympics (Feats of Strength) on the Common. The events included; Longboarding speed trials, 25 Metre Sprint & Fox Chasing. This photo is of Mike’s skating, which shows why he is often scored so highly in the style category.
Big stormy clouds over Clapham Common yesterday evening. I managed to get a hand-held HDR image of the bandstand on the common. Half way for this photo a day site tomorrow. 6 months in!
I photographed these daffodils on Clapham Common on the walk home. I love the 50mm lens. Can’t wait to get a SLR with HD video so I can film with it. This exposure was a couple of seconds, balanced to tungsten.
I was taking a photograph of this tree and lamp in Clapham Common this evening when a cyclist rode out in front of the camera and down the path. It made really cool trails of light which follow the perspective of the path.
Waiting on a platform at Clapham Common tube. I think this was a 20 sec exposure, to stop all the people at the station being exposed. Went to watch Betts drum for James Taylor Quartet tonight. Amazing stuff. I now need some salty snacks and a lie down. Goodnight. x
I took this image of Clapham Common as I was walking to my new flat (in Clapham). I’m moving this coming week, so everything is a bit up in the air at the moment. Booking flights to Mexico today too!
After seeing a new flat today that looked like Fritzel’s Summer London attic. I took a walk through Clapham Common, and got this shot by the bandstand thing in the middle. I was on route to a lovely meal which was Mexican in theme, and delicious in taste. Lots of red wine and some ales [...]
