Hmmm, my 4GB memory card broke, so I couldn’t use the image I wanted for today. I had taken this earlier in the day with my iPhone, and so, is the only surviving photo I took this day. I quite like it though.
Whilst being gassed out of the studio this week, I had to get outside to escape the fumes. I took a walk down the alley around the back of the studio and found lots of interesting garages and doors, each one different.
I was trying to create a sense of scale so that the posable figure in this image looked like an adult. If i had more time, it’d be fun to superimpose him onto normal size bricks or into a busy street scene. Maybe another day.
I’ve always walked past this purple door underneath the railway bridge on Tanner St. but never had my camera with me until today. It’s quite a strange scene, with no clue as to what’s behind. Just went to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D and my eyes are taking a while adjusting to this screen. [...]
