01-12-2010 Self Portrait 18

01-12-2010

One month left for this photo project! This is a self portrait of me at home, sitting oddly. Lit with single flash gun off to the side.

30-11-2010 Ewell Church

November 30th, 2010

30-11-2010

The churchyard at Ewell was looking picturesque this morning.

29-11-2010 Runners

November 30th, 2010

29-11-2010

Crazy runners on Clapham common. It’s too cold for this business.

29-11-2010 Wishing Well

November 30th, 2010

28-11-2010

The wishing well in the old ice storage basement in the London Canal Museum. That looks like a fair bit of money. I also made a short video of this place.

27-11-2010 Spin the black circle

November 29th, 2010

27-11-2010

Listening to some music on vinyl round at the Martin’s house. Feeling Christmassy.

26-11-2010 Cardboard Box Portrait

November 26th, 2010

26-11-2010

A little rushed, but pretty funny. I should have taken it in a location, instead of on white. Also a bigger box would have helped. It was cramped in there.

25-11-2010 Pear

November 25th, 2010

25-11-2010

Pear still life. Shot hand held with one tungsten lamp and a macro ring.

24-11-2010 Flower at Night

November 25th, 2010

24-11-2010

A flower against the night sky. Lit with a flash gun.

23-11-2010 Pair of Parsnips

November 25th, 2010

23-11-2010

The fist vegetable box came from Devon. They will be delivered every week. It’s exciting, you don’t know what you’re going to get. Yesterday I made Celeriac & Sweet Potato mash with mushroom stroganoff from the box.

22-11-2010 Heather

November 23rd, 2010

22-11-2010

I found these dyed heather bushes at a garden centre. They were the most bizarre colours, but looked really good together.

21-11-2010 Roast Dinner!

November 23rd, 2010

21-11-2010

Feeling pretty sorry for myself after the party, my camera didn’t make it past this most welcome of sights. A totally righteous roast dinner!

20-11-2010 Man On The Edge

November 23rd, 2010

20-11-2010

This is Steve applying robotic looking silver spray to his face and hair. His costume for the party… Sir Alan Sugar. (It actually looked very good in the end).

19-11-2010 Centre Point & Cranes

November 23rd, 2010

19-11-2010

When havingĀ  a drink at the Royal George, you now get this view. Sans the London Astoria, sadly. Where do kids watch metal gigs now? Good memories…

18-11-2010 Melodica Rock!

November 18th, 2010

18-11-2010

Playing a bit of power-melodica. The worlds most special instrument. HOOOoOONNNNNKKKK!!!!

17-11-2010 Light

November 17th, 2010

17-11-2010

Playing around with an L-Series lens at work on my old Canon 1-D body, made me remember what it’s like to have descent, working lenses. I think I’ve taken the one broken lens thing as far as I can now. Time to invest in some newer equipment. This shot caught my eye because of the fancy security light (it belongs to a lighting shop) and the different building materials. Over and out.
