I came across a family of Howler Monkeys. The adults were very sleepy, and just laid around on the branches. But this little guy was really energetic and curious. I exposed to get the lens flare here and used my flash to fill in the Monkey and tree.

Nice shot, though depending on the quality, a bit of a closer crop to the monkey might be nice. I added a suggested crop as a note.

Great shot, I personally like the wide version, gives us a chance to see more of the environment and I really like the sun shining into the jungle, I feel like it adds alot to the image.

Cheers guys! Unfortunately cropping is not really an option with my 4.6MP Canon 1D : ( and to make matters worse, my Tele lens had died just before my trip. Time to invest in some new equipment I think!

This photo is epic Darren Woolridge! The lighting on the monkey is great. I would suggest adding some lens flare to the monkeys eyes. Filter> effects> Lens flare.
